Dates are announced
for visits to see David O'Brien's extensive Trix collection in his
specially built museum near Banbury. To arrange a tour on one of the
dates listed below, email David at david_obrien@hotmail.com (no phone
calls please). There will be a minimum of 4 people per day, with a
maximum of 8 people per day.

TTRCA/HRCA event at the Community Centre, Shipton, just north of York on
the A19. Open 10.00am to 4.00pm. David Plum will be running Trix, also
present will be Hornby in operation, regular traders’ sales tables, and
refreshments all in pleasant rural surroundings. Historic York nearby

The TCS present their 10th annual summer exhibition of model railways
and vintage Toy Trains. Over 30 layouts and displays including N, 3mm
(TT ), OO/HO, EM and O.
Vintage toy trains include Gauge 1, O ( Hornby and ACE ), Triang OO/HO
British and Transcontinental, Triang TT and Minic Motorways. Hornby
Dublo 2 rail, Trix Twin 2 and 3 rail. TOMY ( Thomas ) trains, Lone Star
( 1950's ) and Minitrix, Hugar, American Flyer ( S gauge ), Graham
Farish OO/HO and other lesser known makes, East German TT, Japanese
tinplate, Meccano models, Bayko, Dublo Dinky and Lionel O gauge.
Several local model railway clubs exhibit along with the main collecting
societies TCS, Kitmaster Club, HRCA, and TTRCA. Also friends of the
National Railway Museum, and author Pat Hammond.
Trade support from more than 20 traders covering all the popular gauges
with new and second hand.
